Who we are

We are a group of people who wish to set up small learning centres with a high quality educational system in Papua, Indonesia, that are available to village children. These villages will become communities that work together because they have discovered Jesus’ inspiring way of life. Our unified hands will enable them to see and value how God provides for the individual, for their family, and for their community.

Full Harvest Ministry is a Trust under the umbrella of the River Church, Surfers Paradise, Queensland, Australia. From within this secure position, Full Harvest Ministry is totally independent with its own management committee. This Committee fulfils advisory and oversight needs, necessary now and even more so as Terri has now returned to Indonesia full-time to set up these courses.

anette

As a liaison person for our first course here at Harapan, Anette is using her administrative, church and leadership abilities to assist us in multiple ways. She is a capable English speaker who is sometimes called upon to translate.

daawia

Daawia is a capable English speaker, teacher and university lecturer. Her passion is to impart to Papuan children information about their flora, fauna and unique ecology, which so many know nothing about. She and Kezia have been building a small farm complete with goats and a butterfly house. More developments are to come...

kezia

Another capable English speaker, teacher and translator is Kezia. She and her husband Victor have watched over Terri since Terri first went to Papua.

darson

Darson was one of the children Terri used to look after in the orphanage when she first entered to Papua. He is from the highland area and is now a very capable young man, trying to see where his future is best developed. He has a fairly good basic knowledge of English and majored in Japanese at university. His desire is for the children in his village to access the benefits of this course.

marion

Marion–an English-speaking teacher who has worked in Anette’s school for many years–also desires to see this course in her village. Watch this space!

thomas

Thomas is a highlander who wants to help bring this program to his area and for that reason has been invited onto the committee so he can be involved. He has been an immeasurable help to Terri.

DINA

Dina has always been interested in opening courses in Papua and has therefore been involved with our processes from the start. As one of only three committee members who are indigenous to the area, she brings a unique voice to our meetings.

Terri disher

Terri is on the committee casting the vision and helping with the practicalities of making each course become a reality.
